I’m starting up a small business and have come across information about websites that run contests for designers to create the best logo, business card, and stationary designs a client is looking for. Basically I would describe exactly what I wanted and name my price, and then designers from all over the world could submit their entries and I’d choose the best. I’m not looking to spend a lot of money though! At most I’d be willing to drop just over $100.
Can you recommend any reputable sites that feature these contests? Thank you!
Not for the price of $100. There are sites out there like that, but for logo designs alone, prices start at around $250. You won’t get many people wanting to work on a design for only $100 if the money isn’t guaranteed. Because 99% of the people submitting designs end up working for free.
I would recommend going through a freelancer instead. I really think that will be the only place you could get a good design with that budget. Good luck.
